When I added forwards and slammed mine I decided to go with a rear mount stand.

The only issue I had was I had to cut it down to make it short enough for the bike to lean and not stand straight up. Very happy with it now.

How did you cut it down?
Did you take it someplace and have it threaded deeper also?

Mine was even too long only with the upper part. Had to cut the major part to get the angle of the bike right, when bottomed out.

I am in the same situation. Need a shorter kick stand for my Deluxe. I noticed that JP Cycles has a 1" shorter kickstand that is direct bolt on for my bike, however they have been out of stock for months. Next option is the Arlen Ness and that runs about 80 bucks !

There has to be a more simple solution.
