Retarded parts guy in the riverside, ca. Skipforcye harley dealer thats why i drive 45 mins to get my parts at temecula harley they havent let me down and always are more then willing to help a person out
Because of my "VERY (NOT) KNOWLEDGABLE" parts guy, I have a brand new painted fuel tank sitting in my shop! Right after that mess I no longer take his word on anything! I take the time and research the part numbers I need first and then tell him what I want. When he asks "what bike is this for?" I tell him for whatever your HD book says it will fit.
We all need to vent once in awhile....lol Mine was over two years ago....lol
I've had them tell me "there's no such thing" until I leaned over the counter and pointed to it on the fiche. I'm smarter now, I just call with the part number and have them hold it for me till I can get there.
It's remarkablys easy to get on the HD website or open up the parts catalog, find what you want, write it down, take it to the dealer and say "I want this," hand them the paper, get part, check part #, and go home with what you intended to go home with. When you rely on others you are more often than not dissappointed. Much better off relying on yourself.

nah thats what they get paid to do find my part numbers and give me the correct ****, you would get fired if you continually failed to do your job correctly i expect harley to abide by the same practice
