Dressed up Heritage bags
Running out stuff to hang on the bike, so decided to work on the bags. The were still pretty firm, but I installed a set of inserts to keep them that way. I found some chrome conchos & leather medallions, and put three across each side. They match my chrome concho'd front fender skirt. I found some 1-1/8" stars, and put them through the last hole on the strap, plus another centered between them. I've always loved those stainless speed ball wings, so added one of those to both sides too. And since the rear ends looked pretty plain, I got a pair of the chrome HD oval medallions, and added them. Since they are adhesive, I had to cut some thin aluminum plate to the same oval shape. I drilled them & countersunk them so the screw heads were flush, and used large washers on the inside. When I had them drawn up tight, I carefully mounted the ovals.
