Default Speedometer Replacement

I'm looking at a speedometer to replace the stock one on my '04 Heritage. I found one with about the right mileage. Part # on the back of the case is 67410-04D and on the box is 67033-04B. My parts catalogue lists number 67033-04. What is the significance of the "B" and "D" at the end of the numbers? I know too that the replacement has a clock function that my stock speedo does not have. Other than that does anyone know if this is a direct replacement for mine? Thanks

Local dealers are closed on Monday and the part is on an ebay auction that ends tonight.

The A, B, etc on the end of partnumber are small revissions/updates. Since main part no is still the same it should fit as far as I know.

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll take a chance on it if the price is right.

" I found one with about the right mileage."

The odometers on these are digital... it will read it from your computer... it doesn't come from the speedo itself.

Mileage is stored in the speedometer itself...if you buy a speedometer from a dealer...they verify your mileage and send you a new speedometer with the correct mileage programmed in.
