I don't have a siren, but a few days ago my turn signals started flashing when I got on and lifted my scooter. So my battery needs replacing also. But I haven't had a chance to get a new one yet.

I am not too concerned because the "bypass process" is very simple, I would advise anyone with a security system to become familar with how to bypass the system. It may come in handy if the FOB stops working and it is not caused by a dead battery.
