Might just be entire motorcycles, but it depends on what you are looking for. I bet you could buy a wrecked bike for a bit of cash and pull some decent parts off it.
Just remember the VIN of the frame (not sure of the engine part number) is registered in the DMV as a salvage title code. It might be better to strip the good stuff, then sell the frame for scrap.
There is a big motorcycle salvage business in NC. Don't know too much about it but have heard about it before. Do a search and they might just be what you need. I'll look a little more into it myself.
I saw a huge pile of parts at my dealers shop. They said they destroy all the parts. I dont believe them!
A guy on eBay used to sell take offs and used parts he bought in bulk from the local dealerships. He just happens to be 20 min's from my house so scored some goodies cheap. Due to the economy and terrible sells at the dealers, they now put the stuff online them self. Check the usual, eBay and CL.
