Alright, after the crash and burn on my last attempt at getting the Fourbiddens, I figured I'd wait until I had my new ones in hand before posting here. So today I picked up nice box containing a set of Martin Bros. Over-Under Cannons in chrome. I'm planning on having them wrapped over the heat shields in light brown heat wrap up to the crossover. I was going to get black, but decided that chrome would look better with the heat wrap.
I'll take some snaps tomorrow and post them. Let's just hope I don't encounter any more problems. So far the only problem seems to be that the guy who packed them didn't tape over the ends and I'm having to pick styrofoam peanuts out of the pipe, seems like a good job for the old air compressor.
Just waiting for my A/C and mirrors to show up from the good Dr. this week and then the only thing I really need to pick up before riding season will be new handlebars. I just haven't decided which ones yet... not apes or minis.
