OK, I think I am going to order the Mustang. I want to get the Solo with back rest and 2 up 14" rear. When looking at the Mustang site it shows 3 different Softail models. It says Softail, softail Standar Rear tire, and Softail Wide tire. I know I don't have the Wide but what is the difference in the softail and softail standard rear tire. I have a 2006 FLSTCI Heritage Softail. Do I order the standard rear tire?
Probably should call them to make sure you're getting the right one. I may have missed it but from my reading of their website I couldn't find a seat/backrest listing for a 2006 Heritage.

I sent them an email a few days ago giving the details of my bike. They stated the 79120 was the solo and 79130 was the 2up.
Damn I am confused. You gentlemen with OLs that ride with you, have any of you tried the Mustang 79120/79130 combo and the Saddlemen Explorer Gel? I am torn on which one to get. I think both will ride about the same for me. I just want the OL happy because I really like her riding with me. I also cannot find anything that says how wide the back/up portion is. The 79130 is 14". I would hope the explorer is about the same. Thanks.
I have the Leather Saddlemen Explorer gel with drivers backrest and the passenger section is 14" wide. I can't comment on the Mustang you're asking about because I haven't tried that seat. I looked at the Mustang also but I didn't care for the look, it looked too round and puffy to me. But that is just my opinion I know alot of guys really like that seat. I know the Saddlemen seat is like a couch...my wife loves it. It's a really comfortable seat and well made. I had a hard time getting the leather because no one stock it even Saddlemen so they wound up making one. My wife is thinking about getting her own bike and if she does I am considering selling mine. I purchased the seat last year so it is pretty much brand new. I even put a couple layers of nice felt under the seat to protect my paint (works really good too). If you decide to go with the Saddlemen let me know.

The stock front Heritage seat fits my butt perfect,, I done several 7-8 hrs ride with it..
The rear pillion is a different story..
put less than 1k on her and knew I'd have to get the wife something else.. the 07 rear seat really sucked, a lot worse the the 06' s and earlier ones..
Ended up getting her the Touring pillion, Touring Backrest and floorboards..
She went from ride 1/2 hr rides before hurting to whatever after the changes...
