Default 103B hp/tq

Friend of mine had a 103 kit pistons cylinders and SE255 cams with a pc5 installed at the dealership. They told him 97hp and 113tq does that sound about right in an 08 Softail with a B motor? I told him to skip the dealer dyno and save the money. I had him order the pcv from Fuel moto and i told him that i was sure that map would be better than what the dealership would do trying to dyno several bikes a day. Not too many weeks ago they would not even allow you to use the word Power Commander in their dealership, now that things are slow they most certainly can tune a bike with a Power Commander. Fukin lying crooks!

I have the same set up on a 10 Heritage and those numbers sound a little optimistic, based on my calibrated *** (hah!). I am saving for the Fuel Moto pcv gizmo--more to cool it down than to increase #s. When I lived in Aroostook County they would have called it wicked hot.

I've seen a bunch of 103 SE kits with 255's dyno sheets.

The usual average for a SAE, 4th gear dyno pull is around 104#'s of TQ and 85 hp...

If they done a STD and 5th gear dyno pull it will get higher numbers.

113/97 is almost the numbers that other get when they also do head porting with the 103 kit,, or a really "happy dyno" print out.

I recently did mine (103 with flat cast pistons and TW-555 cams), but no head-work. I got 106/93 after a dyno tune by Doc in Mineola, FL. That was SAE in 5th gear. It's hard to compare these numbers when you have different dynos, but you should be close. Make sure you get a good dyno tune after the install.

I completely agree with these statements. I had a 103" big bore with SE255 cams in my '07 FXST. Vance and Hines Big Radius, SE Heavy Breather, tuned with PCIII. Made 84/104. Now, if you have a good 2-1 exhaust, I can see a few more lbs of tq. But I don't see that cam making almost 100 hp with no headwork.
