Just hung little brass ***** under the rear mudflap. You have to look hard for them but their there. I also have the wind deflectors but only put them on in the winter months along with the softlower covers. They keep me rideing all winter so who cares what they look like but yea they are uuuugly.

Sorry about the quality, angle, etc-----but I wanted to share quickly...........Those wind deflectors I put on yesterday are the ugliest thing I've put on thus far. They look like fangs. The windshield is the second ugliest and all within the last two weeks. Buuuuttt.....they provide the most comfort and function of anything I've put on. I haven't ridden yet with the deflectors. Cool lookin vs functionality.....decisions of a 34 year old Those two things will only be used in the cooler months.....I got wait till summer. I'll post more pics later from better angles. I ordered the tall backrest for the springer rail yesterday also. More functionality
Just got a new Nightrain and before I even got half way through break-in some woman in my company is telling me I need to put a windshield and floor boards (for the passenger) on it because her husband's Softail Heritage has 'em. WTF ????!!!!! And of course she thinks it's a shame that us poor deprived Nightrain owners hardly have any CHROME on our scoots with the blacked out engine an all......... Scheeeesch !

Not that bad and if they keep your private parts from freezing then they are worth the $. Actually they are not that bad. I have the same bike and windshield. I use the windshield in the winter months and don't think that it looks bad at all.

Should have handed her the key, asked if she had her wallet with her, and when could she have it back from putting the mods on?

I thought about those when I was on my trip. Got buffeted around some (just a couple of times) and ended up putting my arm in the way. I just can't get past the looks.

Keep us posted how they work out though...

I don't know yet---I haven't ridden this week as of yet. Having to pick up my daughter after work so the schedule has conflicted with riding

Well,,,I think windshields and deflectors are REALLY ugly and you will look like a 70 y/old (with all my respect) than a 34yo.
BUT ,if its cold outside they will surelly make the difference.

I will neve EVER use a windshield with my Night Train,..but i pay for not using them, freezing myself out there in cold weather .

Dont worr ysummertime will come faster than u think!!! heheheheheeh

Good luck and let me say a really like how ur bike look,,(without ws)

Default Lights, Windshield, Deflectors...

My bike came with the wind deflectors (and windshield). I'd like to add the extra lights. Looks like people have them both, so I'm guessing they will both fit (even if they do make me look like a 70yr old). :^)
Has anyone run into problems mounting all 3 items (windshield, wind deflectors, lights)? I have a 2003 Fatboy. Thanks!
