Softails with tank lifts ?

Softails with tank lifts ?
I did an 1.5" lift that looks good from the side but... What have you guys done with the front of the tank? The rubber piece kinda looks awkward the way it sits now and there is this big hole between the frame and tank.

I had installed the 3" lift kit from J&P and didn't have any problem with a gap or the rubber piece being exposed. The pic I have attached is a pic from the side. I will take a pic from the front and send it tommorow.

I left the rubber piece there but in the hole I used piece of black plastic and cut it to fit the hole and glued it in.
