My 07 Heritage will have 50,000 on it at next service. My mechanic is suggesting performance cams at that pooint. Can you give me some info on this. Good and Bad of doing this?
Thanks
No bad to speak of. Just don't go overly aggressive. I just had an Andrews 24H installed in my '07 Heritage and luv it. Really wakes the bike up. I had 24k on mine when installed. You do some riding bub!
There are going to be many opinions on cams coming your way. I am going to be biased and say take a look at the Andews 24H cam as for me it's a good fit. The band is in the low and midrange where I wanted it and 6th gear now becomes much more usable at the 60 mph mark with no luggin.
Check out Head Quarters cams either the 034 or 500(both are the same but different application of bike) one the best bolt in stock cams. Check out their forum or Pro-twin.com
