I am thinking about buying a fatboy for my fiance. It is a 2004 with 9500 miles on it. alot of upgrades and comes with a detatchable windsheild and detatchable backrest that are not shown in the picture. I have not had it inspected by harley but the only thing I can see it needs is a new rear tire. The current negotiated price is $9000, I have been looking for a while now and this seems to be a pretty good price on what seems to be a solid bike. Like I said I have not had the bike tested by Harley yet but I feel comfortable with the price hat do you guys think about the price?
I'd get em down another grand before I would consider it.
Replacement of tires would be a good negotiating tool. Not your fault they haven't replaced the tire. And standard maintenance does not appreciate the value...however, lack of standard maintenance surely will depreciate the value.
Good luck with it. But I would be more firm around $7500 as a buyer.

I am taking it to Harley next week to get it inspected, depending on what they find I will use this as leverage for negotiating power.
$9,000 and only 9500mi, Hell yes that's a good deal. The bike looks to be in great condition and has lotsa chrome. If it checks out at HD I wouldn't let it slip away.
You've been looking a while as you said, so you already know it is a good deal. Good luck bro!
Like someone said, to get them to throw in the new rear tire would be a deal well negotiated.

You also have to keep in mind its due for a 10,000 mile service as well. And unless your gonna do it yourself, be prepared to dish out couple hundred at least.
If you can get the seller to correct anything Harley finds plus half the cost of the 10,000 mile service, then I would go for it.

originally he was asking 9200 but i got it to 9k due to the rear tire, I didn't think of the oil change though. Good point.
