wow that is pretty low profile for a DOT. The helmet in my sig pic is my Voss. I can get a baseball cap or skull cap under it as well. Thanks story....the visor does come off of it right?
looks like it is off in the pic next to the Voss....

what kind of glasses you wearing in that pic? looks like we have similar tastes...lol

Novelty on the left, Outlaw then THH DOT. I removed the visor and visor studs. Put the screws back in. The small holes could easily be filled with black silicone or gasket material. I'm lazy and the screws were right their. lol

Story your friend was right. The Outlaw is just slightly smaller then the THH. After a couple hours riding a pressure point was bugging me. Removed a little foam in one area and it is perfect.

Take a look at the G-Max http://www.g-max.com/gmax/gm55S.html#

I just piked up a carbon one on-line for $70.00, it's a great looking helmet. DOT rated and minimal in size appearance. A bonus is the internal retractable face sheild. It just covers the eyes and when down almost looks like sun glasses instead of a sheild.

My head measures 7 1/8" and normally I wear a size medium but this helmet fit perfectly in a size small. They seem to run a little large.

Thanks for this great thread - pics tell the whole story. For those who may be looking at the 3/4, take the time to look at the Rockhard classic 3/4. I just picked one up in the classifieds here and this helmet is the chit! Very low-pro and very well-made.

Seems like leatherup is the way to go around here. Would love to see a few more pics of people wearing the outlaw helmets. Looks to me like 'm gonna be ordering a new lid. Been pressing my luck with the novelty helmet on base. Not to mention going down last summer. But I must say, my novelty helmet held up to the pavement pretty well.
