New rubber
I'm looking to put new tires on my deuce. I'm stuck between the dunlop3 or metzeler me880. It came with dunlops but I've heard Metz got a good tire? Any advice would be great.
Metzelers will not last as long but are softer and stickier. I far prefer a softer stickier tire to a harder one. This can really have an impact on the way your bike rides. I have been running metzelers and Avon's for years. Dunlops come off immediately in favor of a better tire.

I am with Drew on this one... I run Metz 880's on my Heritage for about 8k miles. They are great tires! I had some Avon Venom X's on my old scoot, and they are still going to this day (my buddy bought my old bike 4 years ago). He rides the **** outta that bike, and they're still holding up. You can't go wrong with Metz or Avon in my book!
Nice on the metz 200.. is this goin on a 18" x 5.5 rim? With the 200, i think you need a narrow belt and pulley, and also think you need to remove the inner fender struts.. I think hogpros website has the step by step directions.. I went with a 180 metz.. and that is tight on my 07 deuce with a narrower belt..I dont know how people get 200's in there..but i know people do it.. Good luck!
Ya I also order an 18x5.5 rev tech solid chrme rim, 20mm belt, pulley. I haven't figured out a fender yet. I might have to play Jesse j's and fab something I'm wana try piece this together without breaking the bank

I know I have heard of people going with he screaming eagle 180 on a stock deuce rim with no mods. Not sure on a 170 of a different brand, they all vary in width even know they are considered the same.. So I guess unless your against dunlops or are going to a bigger rim, the se180 is the best bet. Never did it but researched the **** outta this topic before buying my rims..
