No problems for sure. I put on my S&S a/c and V&H pipes at home and drove 20 mins to the shop for the flash. All they told me was not drive to aggressive on the way there, so with a little self control, I had no issues.
i read through this article, and honestly it sounds more like "Ok, you have a product installed already, now please, use ours as well!".. like the info at the top may be true, idk, i haven't researched it at all.. but after that first blerb, the whole thing is basically "buy buy buy..get an XiED and we'll fix what you 'effed'!", yet even attempting to do a search on this topic leads to 1,001 other forums and naturally everyone says "remap remap remap!".. and by "remap" i'm using the term generically to apply to having the MOCO actually change your ECM, or to using a SERT/Fuel Pak/PC/etc.. i'm not an expert at all.. im just saying my opinion on that page, that it really sounds like they just want to sell you something..
I definitely got that part, but I also took away that maybe you don't have to do anything on the newer models if you only do pipes and an air cleaner. Your stock ECM system will make the adjustments for the fuel mixture. You gotta admit there is a belief out there that if you change your pipes and A/C and don't do something with the tuning your engine will be molten aluminum. I have always been in the camp of you gotta do something. They are only discussing 1 parameter as well, so other changes to you motor will require more than a sensor change. Just a quite a contrast to what we have been told over the years and they seemed to have cited their sources. I have just come around on fuel injection in the last few years, so I may be a little behind in technology.

I honestly DO believe that the ECM program inside 2010-onward HD's should be able to handle the adjustments, especially as more and more things on board are being tied into the computer systems.. I mean if I could have saved $250 or whatever it was i paid for my PC-V i totally would have.. and if that proves to be true then I wouldn't have a problem ripping the thing out of my bike and selling it to someone who isn't a believer yet.. there's just not enough information on the topic that i can/can't find.. and i highly doubt the dealership will tell me that it's true, because they'll probably say "Yeah it's true.. once you install a SERT.. and some custom painted tins.. You should really change out your tins, because good paint helps the air/fuel mixture and also makes your bike go faster. chrome too.".. anywho, i dont know where i'm going with this.. but for right now my PC-V worked very nicely in my bike, and it's already money spent
