Question Forward Controls on a FXSTC !!!

I was just wondering if any of yall have used the Arlen Ness 3" forward control bracket kit? It's the one that lets you keep all your stock pegs, ect. If so, what did you think of them? Any problem? etc!!!

Go for it, great kit. I just installed mine a couple weeks ago and they are great and easy to install. I bought a $7 bleeder kit that made the job really clean. If you don't have a lift the Harbor Freight one will work fine for only $89.

Ya, I used them. No problem here. Saved a ton of money this way. Nice and solid, quality chrome. The only problem I had (and not with the kit) was my shift peg was red locktighted on, so I had to snap the bolt. I had a replacement because I was going to replace it anyway. Oh, ya, you'll need a bike jack or a way to tie her off, because you'll be removing the jiffy stand for a relo to the extension arm, and the bike has to stand upright. Just a thought. Have fun, is was an easy install. Mine's a 94 FXSTC.

Yep, everything is in that kit(Same one I bought) Now get yourself a lift, a drain tube for breakfluid, and a pack of black zip ties. Tip: use a heat gun before trying to break the Torx bolts loose and use high quality torx sockets!
