So I am trying to install the 2" lift kit on my 08 Rocker and I can't figure out how to loosen the rear tank bolt. I have taken off the seat and believe I can see the bolt I am trying to get to, but there is no room for a wrench to get to it. Alot of people have done this, but I am obviously missing something here.
So here are a couple of pics w/ the seat off. I am assuming the nut/bolt I want to get to is inside what I would call the top tube. You can see the bottom of the threads hanging down inside that tube. The problem is that there is almost no space between the nut and the tube to get a wrench.
Does the gray piece on top of the tank need to come off to get access to that or am I completely wrong on where the rear bolt is located?
