Exclamation No OIL in the can???????

Hello brotha

i got this uniqe issue i have been working on my fatty all winter jus finished the parts and delivered for the paint. Today i was blowing the dust of the bike and was jus curious and pulled the dip stick guess what it was dry as bone checked the can with flash light and there is no oil in there as well dry as bone.
For the record i changed the oil before putting on the jack for winter mods, also i rode it few hundred clicks aswell before parking.

Any help would be appreciated.

It just drained down into the motor. If you're sure you replaced the oil before storage you can just fire it up and let it run a minute or so and recheck it.

Only if you didn't refill it with oil when you changed it last.

After sitting they will drain down into the motor. Start it and you will see the oil come back

It's called "wet sumping", most dry sump engine designs run into this issue eventually. Usually caused by a weak check valve that allows the oil in the tank to gravity feed into the crankcase. My Triumph Trident did it almost overnight, my Ironhead Sportster will do it over winter storage. Once you start riding it regularly, it won't be a problem.
