Default Fender strut ?
Is there a difference between 2007 and 2008 fxstb Nightrain rear fender struts?
Anybody happen to know if the 08s will fit a 07? I have searched the internet and forums but no luck.

On Softail models with a 200mm rear tire, 06 and 07 use one style strut, 08 and later use another.

Default night train fender struts
ive looked for this too with no luck. can anybody tell me if the fender struts of an 08 flst will fit my 06 night train? thanks

I would think the struts from an 07 fatboy would fit as they both have the fat rear tire , but don't know fore sure. Call the dealer and ask them to look up the part number on each.

Iam not sure but when i typed in the flst it came up heritage and it listed the 08 with a small back tire ???? is this true?

Looked up the night train struts in my 2007 and 2009 parts manual.

The numbers for the 2007 end in 06 and the numbers for the 2009 end in 08.
Means they changed them in 2008.

2007 FXSTB
60144-06A - Right Black Wrinkle
60147-06A - Left Black Wrinkle

2009 FXSTB
58991-08 - Right Black Wrinkle
59066-08 - Left Black Wrinkle
