I am going into week 2 of my wait for my new Samson True Dual Longtails and it SUCKS!! I bet I have wore off 1" of concrete in my shop just walking around my cycle wishing they were here! Sorry guys just needed to vent to someone OTHER than the wife..(who is about to make me start sleeping out in the shop!)
Damn sorry to hear, I ordered mine from Drew came in two days, and was cheaper than buying direct.

My 36 inch mini Cholos took a couple weeks to get and I was pacing just like you without a wife to bitch at.(my poor dog)They are well worth the wait, hang in there.
well its not the distributor's fault, it seems Samson is having an issue with the company that does the Chrome work for the heat shields. GO FIGURE! I finally get the funds to buy them and I have to wait due to uncontrollable issues...lol
I'm in the same ordeal. Ordered mine on Monday and probably won't see them for 5 more days...Making a run to Vegas next weekend, but probably won't be able to get them on in time.
Is the install that bad? Any tricks that will detour multiple tool throwing?
It is tricky. The room behind the rear cylinder in front of the oil tank is a tight fit. Get new gaskets from Harley before you start. If you get stuck post here and you will get plenty of help. Few here really helped me out.
