Springer Teardrop Rocker Covers?

Hello all! I just purchased a 2000 Heritage Springer. I really like the looks of the teardrop rocker covers, and the way they flow into the ends of the chrome forks-so I'm considering buying them. Can anyone share with me how easy they are to install, and if they will cause any marks on the painted fender supports? Thanks!

Simple as all get out, unscrew the axle caps, remove the self adhesive cover (if you want, they will stay on without it), position the tear drop around the cut outs for the fender support, put the axle caps back on....no sweat.

The Road King left my garage with it's new owner this morning, and JC Motors will be delivering my Springer in a few weeks. Chompin' at the bit!
