With the progressive bolts...can I just put my bike on my lift in the garage and just loosen them up as much as they will go? I got pretty comfortable removing and installing everything I did on this bike but didn't do the shocks because I didn't have a press.

Again, I look to the awesome advice from the members of this forum. Thanks for moving me along to my end state!

I think you can just put it on the lift I cant remember ( I did mine like 2 years ago and havent messed with them since) if you need the spanner wrench from harley or not. Its only like $12 if you do. Look on progressives site they should have some directions on adjustment. To lower the bike the longer the threads are sticking out of the shock the lower the bike will sit.

sadly it looks like my progressive bolts are maxed out. i guess this will have to do until i can come up with some more $$$ for an air ride suspension.

Bike is looking good, man. As far as the bolts go, before the shotgun shock, I had the same ones as you and this is what she looked like with about 3 threads left. I think it's your short fender thats making it look a little higher.
