Default TH Pipes
Is anyone running chrome Thunder Header pipes?
If yes would please post a pic?

I am not having very good luck with black pipes so I am considering chrome with black heat shields.

Thx in advance.

I found almost 2k of pics just doing a seach on TH pipes...and it only took 15 secs.

Count the first set rusted all to heck with in a few months.
Got the mfg to send me a new set and the new set lasted exactly 13 days (yes you read correctly days) before the black finish started to come off in places. It is only a matter of time before they rust.

My guess would be where the heat shields are bracketed on they tend to wear the finish and they begin to rust. Chrome seems to handle the brackets better. That's the only issue I have ever noticed.

I didn't have heat shields on either set. However, you are correct I am having finish/rust problems

That may be something hard to find, if they're not stock..

take a pic with them and do some photo chopping on it. then U'll have it.
