Default Forwards on a FLST

I am currently building a bike based very loosely on a 1998 Heritage. I will be putting hard bags and a Lindy bar on the bike. I am 6'4" and not much into floorboards. I have had both a FXST with stock forwards and a FLHT with boards. I just don't like how boards feel to me. I have a Klock Werks extended front fender that goes pretty low. My question is this: Will forward controls (both regular and 2" extended) interfere with the engine guard and/or front fender? If normal forwards will not interfere but extended will, I will use normal ones and put highway pegs on the Lindy bar. Thanks!!!!

That is a good question. Unfortunately I don't have an answer.
