alright, I am sold. I am going to buy these shocks myself (the 422s). What do you have to do for install? Jack the bike up, pop out the old, and pop this one in???? thats how it would seem to me...
You got it. It's one of the easiest mods you'll ever do.
I will be installing my 422's this coming weekend. I have a question, in order to lower the bikes rear 2 inches you extend the bolts out. Since there is no detail on how much to extend the bolts out i thought i would ask here?

The bolts don't extend. You adjust them to the height you want, by loosen the the nut and tightening another behind it, essentially sliding it along the frame

ok, i am confused here. I have a 1992 Heritage Softail with 422's. The shocks have eyes that extend in and out by threading them in and out of the shock? I am trying to figure out how do you adjust them if you want to go 2 inches than?
Hey I don't recall..does Drew @Dr VTwin sell these? I'm doing my front end suspension with some Race Tech Gold Valve Emulators (similar product to the Ricor Intimidators), so now I'm thinking I might have to do the rear end as well, and these are in my price range.. I'm seeing them for sale online at places as low as $385. Yeah.
