What I meant was you can feel them on a soft without buying a 2011, make your decision on the 08 instead of asking if an 11 with shocks is what you want.......try em.

Shock wise....the 08 and 11 are identical

I'm hoping to get my 422s installed tomorrow. I will post up my thoughts on the differences between the the lowering bolt and the 422 after I get a chance to take it out for a long ride.

I haven't had a chance to take it out for a long ride yet, but I was able to get in 2 short rides. The difference between the lowering bolts and the 422s is pretty dramatic. I have the 422s slammed as low as they go (which is probably 1/2 lower than the bolts) and it handles bumps and potholes a million times better. Well worth the money.

alright, I am sold. I am going to buy these shocks myself (the 422s). What do you have to do for install? Jack the bike up, pop out the old, and pop this one in???? thats how it would seem to me...
