To flare or not to flare
Just bought a windshield for my 04 Heritage off ebay. Not in the greatest shape, but I really just wanted the detachable brackets. I will be replacing the plastic and trims and want to know opinions as to whether to spend the extra on the flared top or not.
I am short, 5'6" on a good day, so any shield height suggestions would be appreciated as well. Never had a shield so this will be a new experience.

I was going to post about this. I've been debating this Clearview shield. I recently purchased a tall (stock height) windshield(just the Lexan) on ebay.
The thought was to try it on a longer ride. I've only ridden demo-bikes with the stk/height shields. I didn't really care for it, but I am sick of the buffeting and the glasses dancing on my nose (Not an option now with presc/sunglasses)
I didn't realize until just recently that someone made a repl shield for the factory windshield that flips up like a Windvest (another option I've considered.)
Any experience, comments or . . .
