this was my choice from Dr. V-Twin. Great pipe and great sound. with the B motor, it will Never lope like a 1200. . . but crank it on and it will 'Git R Done'
I'm right behind you on getting these pipes, WD. Been drooling at them on your scoot for a while now. I'll be calling Drew towards the end of the month to get them on the way

You will not be sorry. It is IMHO one of the best systems going. I jst recently put the Quiet baffle in and I like it even more. Took the 'Rasp' out and still has LOT'S of Grunt. It pulls 6th gear w/o any problem from 60 on.
I'm a 2 into 1 man as well. the Road Rage looks great on that bike in black. If I were to ever switch out my fatcat (which is unlikely) I might opt for a Road Rage. I sell all brands of exhaust, hit me up for pricing if you wish.
I'd be interested in what pipes as well? My V&H black BSS pipes have been on for almost exactly 1 year now and they seem to be holding up very well. Absolutely no issues with them. Still look and sound as good as day one.

I really love my BSS's..they have such a growl to them that i didn't expect when i bought them.. everyone tells me they can identify my bike from 2-3 blocks away just by the way these pipes sound.. i'm questioning whether or not i want to put the BCT Monster baffles in them next year or not though
Not really sure what I want. Just trying to get some advive on what sounds good but not to loud. Hate to drop a large chunk of change and still not be happy with the ride.

I just had these installed. So far, they are good. I am very satisfied with the look and sound. I'll post an update if I see something wrong later on. I've heard louder pipes. I'm not saying they are the loudest or best. I think that they sound loud enough and the price is the lowest I found on pipes anywhere. I bought them for $349.99 (plus shipping).
They are NOT powder coated. They have black ceramic paint which scratches easier than powder coat. Also, for those who only like to buy Made in USA for their H.D., they are made in Taiwan. I didn't know before I purchased and don't mind they are.
Also had the motorcycle dyno tuned. I do feel improvement in H.P. I did some research and found it is highly recommended to do when installing new pipes. If you didn't know this, you should look into it. In addition to the cost of pipes, it's more change you will have to drop. Dyno tuning, hi-flow air filter kit, pipes, $$$
