Default Temporary Outdoor Cover

Normally I keep my sled in the garage year round, but I'll be going on a few overnight trips this season where I'll need to keep the ride outside at night. I was thinking to invest in some sort of temporary cover for these few situations, and would like to know what you guys might recommend.

I thought about buying just a straight MC cover, but I'll be adding 14" apes over the next month or so and don't want to buy something that will end up not fitting later on.

Thanks!

Walmart carries a Wolf cover for about 19 bucks packs down small and does a good job. They are about 19 bucks. I'm sure a XL will accomodate your upcoming bars.

IMO one bad thing about HD covers is the BIG HD logo.
While I'm sure they are good covers a big HD logo screams 'expensive bike parked here, come steal me'. That is why I have cover with no logo.

Put a different way, 4wd trucks get stolen more often then non 4wd trucks, so I had the tacky 4x4 stickers removed from my truck. To the casual baddie it is not worth stealing.....

Thanks XXX. I just checked the Walmart site and found this ADCO cover. It's $29 online, and likely cheaper in store, which is perfect. I'll pop in tomorrow to check it out in person.

Here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.walmart.com/ip/ADCO-Trave...Large/10913505

I completely agree with you on this one... I'd rather go incognito when covering up my bike at night.

I do enough overnight, or multi-night trips, and just leave it uncovered. I've never had a issue with rust or anything else. Lots of wax and polish... I'm always scared the cover will chafe on the paint and mark it. We always try to wash the bikes when they're dirty, and dry them well. Just my 2 cents. You'd be surprised how many hotels will lend you a hose and bucket.

Mine here used to, now they sell Coleman covers with a Paul Jr design logo on them. Hatting supporting the douche but I needed a cover right away. And actually I was quite surprised at the quailty of the cover. Pretty heavy duty, protects the bike well and has a lot of padding on the inside to keep the bike from getting scratched. Even handled the surpise snow storm we got last month.

I plan on painting over the logo first chance I get.
