I couldn't find any mounting brackets for that tear drop tool box. Where did you get yours?
J&P Cycles kept sending me the wrong brackets, then admitted they don't carry anything except chrome.
Here are a couple of pic of the teardrop tool box on my lo. It holds all my doc 2 pair of glasses and room for more.
I did the same thing for a month. Tools on one side and the other carried my Cell Phone, papers, smokes, sunglasses and lighter. Got tired of opening that thing all the time so I removed the one and now I have just the one for tools.

I have removed mine and now use the Leatherworks 5" swing arm bag.

Can't remember the part number but I bought mine from HD and it came with the proper bracket.
