Default Engine guard interfering with clutch cable...

I am installing an engine guard but noticing that the clutch cable is quite tight up against the guard as it held by a plastic bracket. It appears the cable can not be relocated or repositioned. The clutch cable is not pinched between the frame and the guard, but quite tight up against it. Will this be ok?

thx.

If it bothers you just cut the plastic bracket off and zip-tie the cable to where it naturally goes with the engine guard installed... there's nothing that says the cable has to remain where the factory put it.

put a engine guard on my wife's fatboy..2002....used about a 1/2 inch spacer between the top of the engine guard mounting hole and the frame..keeps it off the cable without moving it.....used a piece of round chrome tubing for the spacer...sorry i don't have a pic.... Oh Yeah,,,she did drop it right after that and it worked great.........no damage.......

Thank you. I'll try that.
