I've got 2 dealers down to $16,476.93 on a FLSTFB (Security, denim black, 0 miles, 2011)
No one has a Bones that's new but yesterday I got a curve ball thrown at me! A sales guy from a local dealership called me out of the blue and said they have a 2011 bones vivid black and they want it gone! So after a few emails and phone calls I have him at $16,653.96
He happens to be the only guy around here with a bones....
they all will throw in the 20% off all merch. but one dude will keep that 20% off for an entire month.
All my prices are out the friggin' door no BS (so they say).
How much more wiggle room do I have?
The guy selling the bones told me straight up he's only making $600 on the bike. Is this true?
Not good in my opinion. Apparently pricing is better in the mid-west. Out the door, with denim black and security (with 20% for one month), I could get a new 'Bones in Tulsa, OK for a flat $15,000. Heck, they offered me the deal just because I glanced at it! I already got my silver 'Bones (with no security) at that same price...so...oh, well. Just saying, you can definitely get it down to $15k. Though, it helps a great deal if you show up in person. Most dealerships don't negotiate much over the phone or via email. And, your salesman can be a big help in getting you a good deal as well. So, pick a salesman that wants to help you get a bike rather than make a bigger commission.
Where in Tulsa can that Bones be had for 15K? One of the guys i ride with is thinking about letting his Street Bob go for a CrossBones if he can find one. One of our group just got a bones out of Jersey with some custom paint and now has some wheels turning in this guys head. Let me know if you don't mind, that is a good price and has me interested in helping a buddy out.
It was at Route 66 about a month ago. I have no idea whether they still have it. But, anytime I've gone there, I've been offered extremely good deals on bikes. And, I'll even tell them I'm not really looking for a new one. Just looking. lol
