I like bobbers too, and have a question about the solo seats.
My only complaint about my Road King is that I am riding on top of it and don't feel like I am a part of it. On a sport or dirt bike, you stand on the pegs and feel like one with the bike.
One of the things I like about softails is the feeling that you are *in* the bike, feel more like a part of it. With my current seat on my Blackline, I can press against the back of the seat and feel the bike through the pegs, which helps when going through the twisties.
Will I be able to do this with a solo seat, or would I need "normal" footpegs?
("normal" footpegs would probably scrape easier than the forward controls, I'm already scraping my pipe.)
OK, I'm into my second Wild Turkey. I just found this post. Fenders are in the range of $100 on ebay. You can mount them with a few bolts. Why would you pay mega bucks for a kit?????
