Has anyone dealt with an ebay seller on exchanging stock rims for chromed? I would like to hear how the deal and rims were. Been considering this myself but unsure of these sellers.

Yeah, I have a set of black powder coated and chrome turbine cut wheels from that seller. Had 'em since December, but I haven't gotten around to putting them on, yet. They look pretty nice. Deal went well. The seller is called Impress Plating & Polishing and you can visit their website here.
Flitz... use Kleenex really good until black, wipe it off with a rag and then use wax.
I tried alot of different products and this one makes the rims shine like new.
I picked up a set of OEM chrome wheels on e-Bay a while back for mine. I kept looking and looking and finally scored them for $400 plus $50 shipping. No swaps. I sold my originals for $300, so was only out $150.00. Keep looking, they do pop up from time to time.
mine have been so bad I had to use 2000 grit sandpaper...shame on me, I know
When I bought my '08 softail, the wheels needed major rehab. Previous owner never touched them. I used the scotch brite pads starting with green, then red-brown and finally gray. Finished off with Al. polish. They now gleam.
Look for a chrome house in your town..........it would be expensive to ship them to have chromed. If you know anyone that works at a machine shop they will know the good plating houses in your area.
