Just checked, my Outlaw ultra low profile carbon profile DOT has the "DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified" on the inside label. I love that helmet even more now! lol
This is highly suspect because the new law specifically states no stickers are to be used (to avoid fraud) and it must be etched into the shell on the outside on the back. Guess we will find out after the law goes into effect after May 13th.

These general negative statements are suspect. lol Not a sticker, sewn in label. Not concerned that a law officer will look deep into the helmet and law. And neither should you. So, Tony, dont loose sleep over my helmet!!! lol

Many years back we worked a mva with the rider wearing a novelty helmet. That passenger was a fatality and the first thing the family did was sue the dealer who sold it.
In my FD years bagged and tagged too many w/ fake helmets.
I have the nightmares to prove it.
How's the fit? Any bubblehead? Mushroom brain?
For the record, the Outlaw has to be ordered 2 sizes too small for you, so the original $69 price was offset by the $13 reship when my first was waaaay too small. End result worth it all tho, after a bit of reshaping.
Here and there I see one of those BIG dudes wearing the beanies, usually tipping the scales at around 270 or so...and I think with their mass and joggling cheek wattles, triple chins and so forth ... they look totally stupid with it.
There's a point where you just don't NEED a yamikah!
Fit is fine. I was between a medium and a large so I got the large. They give you a couple of velcro pads to customize the fit. I'll probably just wear my baseball cap under it to keep the sun off my neck. I have a Bell Drifter I never wear because the wind gets under it and tries to lift it off my head. It's way smaller than the Bell and of course it would be seeing it's a novelty.

I wish this one fit like my old nov lid. I did the backward baseball cap thing with it so I had something for helmet hair (even tho mine is pretty short). Wouldn't have stopped my construction sun alligator neck skin from forming tho. 2 years back those canyons weren't there!
