Default 02 sensor Samson install 07+

Need some help.... Installed Samson pipes today and in the process the 02 sensor came unplugged. I haven't yet got the manual so I don't know where It plugs in too? Any help is appreciated. This is for the rear cylinder.

Should plug in under the oil tank (actually under the battery). You should be able to see it from the right side. If you can't get at it (not much room there between oil tank and gear box), you can lift out the battery and the plastic box is sits in. You can then easily detach the plug from where it is clipped to the bottom of the oil tank. Easier to plug it back in that way, just clip it back in place when finished.

(that's how it was on my 2009, don't think they changed that)

I'm still trying to figure out how he changed the pipes without unplugging them to begin with.

Haha.... Well the front one was left I just unscrewed it from the header and when doing the rear all of a sudden I had the entire O2 sensor and plug. Helps to have a manual but the dealer didn't have one in stock and I didn't want to wait.

Thanks Rakthi, I will check it this morning.

The right way is to unplug the sensor, remove the exhaust and then remove the sensor from the exhaust, install it in the new exhaust and then install the new exhaust. The problem with unscrewing the sensor with it still plugged in is that you are twisting the wires while unscrewing it. The wires can get damaged at the sensor. Then your bike will run like **** until you figure out which sensor you ****ed up and replace it. I am not saying that will happen I am saying it could.
