I was not hassled for my bars anywhere in Ontario (and I rode to Montreal through Kingston a couple of times ) for more than 2 years.
Then one day right in front of my place as I am going to work, I got stopped.
A Cop friend told me that it is a matter of luck of the draw, if they are going on a mission to give tickets, and you are in the way, you are going down. and Motorcycle Cops (it was one who gave me the ticket) prefer to stop bikes.
I am not totally happy with the look of my 8" to be honest.. but I am getting used to it I guess. on a brighter note it is making the bike slightly more comfortable as I ordered them with an extra 1" of pullback so I am more comfortable on long rides. but I MISS my APES BADLY.
really? looks like you only had 12" apes, seems reasonable to me. perhaps i should be asking what height THEY think we should have on our bikes? its been a while since i looked at any laws around height and how height is measured.
sucks that it happened but if the new bars are a little more comfy then perhaps it isnt a complete loss.
