Default 07 Stock Mirror Issue

So noticed today on the ride that one of my stock mirrors likes to move out of its optimum position, any tips to restore it to its original firmness or do I need to find some new mirrors?

I have never heard of any really good ways to stiffen them up again.
So I think you may be stuck with getting new or take offs to replace them.

Be a good time to look into getting ones that better 'fit' the style your looking for.

True on the mirrors to better fit style... Looked at JPcycles and they have some I like, but still pretty long, I have one stock one on now, reversed and flipped, Soo if I could find a shorter black mirror that fits the same way that be nice, any suggestions??

Don't automatically eliminate chromed ones from your search.
There are no rules that say you can't paint or PC them black if they fit your 'taste'.

Very true, I just was hoping I didnt have to pay the extra $$ to powder coat them, do you have any chrome ones in mind that are shorter than the stock mirrors?

How about tightening the screws on the back of the mirror if it has them. Or if it is the stem tightening the bolt.

I dont see any way to tighten them, I tried spinning the mirror around the stem to tighten it up, but it never seemed to tighten up either way, so I RTV'd around the stem and hopefully that works, if not then I still have another legit one till i can find a set of smaller shorter mirrors that arent $100/ea

I just picked up some Licks mirrors for the bones. Great nostalgic style and great quality. I'll post up some pics if I get the chance. Also, very happy with their customer service. I got one mirror that had a slight distortion in it. AJ at Licks sent another one out without blinking an eye.
