Tmax DTE Restore Procedure
I've gotten a couple PMs asking for URL of Zippers' DTE Restore procedure. Here it is;

See item #8.
Note: we tried this procedure on my 2010 Phattie with an HD aftermarket speedo/combo and it does not work. Two of us ran the procedure independently and together to be sure we did not fuxx it up....and it did not work. "T-LO" message never comes on.
Contacted Zippers .... they know ... but no fix. I suggested they try it out on same setup...but .... it did not happen and I got impression it will not happen.
The best you can achieve after several tankfulls....is that DTE will be more accurate over time ONLY after fuel low warning light comes on. If you depress for DTE at full tank it will show over 500 mi. We wish. At low fuel light .... after several tank full ... I get 100 mi. When low fuel light comes on I have 2.4 gal left. At 40 - 45 ... mpg I can make sense of 100 mi to empty DTE when low light fuel comes on.
