+1 on the Vanson. If you want US made, designed for riders and worn by racers, their mesh is awesome...not fancy, but it works and has been tested on the asphalt. Personally, some of their leathers are too heavy, but I have the mesh and have worn it in 90 degree heat in FL.

I have this coat and like it. It is not very comfy in the heat though, looking for something cooler for summer.

My vote goes to the Tourmaster Flex Series 2. I ride with this jacket year round here in Nebraska. When it gets below 60, i throw on the included rain liner. When it gets below 50, i throw on the included insulated liner. The jacket also has back, shoulder, and elbow armor built in. It is a very comfortable jacket in all weather types. I actually find it cooler in the summer when i ride with the jacket on then when i ride with it off. It has something to do with the way it forces the air to circulate under the mesh.
