Default Rockauto Do Not Buy

Hello to all.Rockauto.com refused to accept $50. Worth of bearings that would not fit.I am over there 30 day return time frame.I would call that pretty poor customer service. I suggest to everyone not to buy from them.Went to advance auto parts & got what I needed.Tom

If you are over their 30 day return policy, then how is this poor customer service?

If you were within their return policy time frame, and they wouldn't accept them, then I'd say that's poor service. If you bought items, waited until the return policy expired, then tried to return something, I'd expect that they wouldn't take them back.

I have purchased many things from them and always been happy, especially with their prices. As a general rule you get what you pay for, and if shopping bargains you might not get superb customer service. Can't have everything. I bet if you had paid 4x from the dealer they still would not take it back either. Was the error that they sent the wrong part or you ordered the wrong part?

Just installed the drivers side ball joints on my Dodge Ram bought from Rock Auto. cheapest I could find and high quality. Will be buying the passenger side soon from Rock Auto also.
Although, I did wait longer than 30 days to install them and if I had ordered the wrong ones, probably would be upset also. But I got to go where the money is.

Have always had great service from ROCKAUTO. You know the policy when you buy from an online discounter, hell most stores have the 30 day refund policy too.

And i bet if you kept the bearings you bought from advanced auto for more than there 30 day period, they would take them back either. I just love when folks know the rules and yet when they break the rules its the companies fault. Not the person who broke the rules. You would love California.

Rockauto rules! You knew the return policy. Your the one who screwed up, not them.
