Please bare with me here, first harley,in the process of changing my fluids for the first time on my 07 deluxe, where is the drain plug on the 6 speed trans?,and when you drain the primary cover where do you fill it from?
Drain plug for trans should be between the shocks.
For the primary you'll need to pull the cover and fill it with a funnel.
Most say replace the gasket when you do but if it comes off clean you can probably get away with reusing it. For a couple dollars it's probably best to replace and not end up with a leak.
You should keep an eye on this site and ebay and look for a shop manual for your bike. There worth the money.
Tranny plug is between shocks under bike. I believe it is a 1/4" allen plug and you remove the derby cover to put oil back into the primary. Do yourself a favor and buy a manual for your bike they are worth every penny.
