Finally got my Ride wright Fat Daddy wheels on my 05 Deuce. I tried to mount a 180 Metzeler rear tire on this bike which many seem to have done without major problems. The first set of wheels were DNA Mammoth Spoke wheels, but the offset was so bad with the rear hub, there was no way they were going to fit without major work. I decided to sell those and order Ride Wrights through Dr. V Twin, who said Ride Wright could make wheels that would fit my bike correctly. Again I ordered a 180 Metzeler rear tire with a 18 x 5.5 wheel, documented everything with Dr. V Twin as to specs of my bike, but again the wheel didn't fit, the pulley offset was wrong. Even if I corrected the offset, it didn't leave me enough room for the wide belt on my bike. I don't how some fit the 180 tire on a Deuce with the wide belt, it wasn't happening on mine without alot more work. Shawn at Dr. V Twin put me in contact with Danielle at Ride Wright, she put me in touch with a tech and we discussed all options. He was willing to make any pulley spacer I wanted, but suggested they make me a new replacement wheel with the stock 160 tire size. Ride Wright paid for the freight back and my new wheel and 160 tire was on it's way back to me before mine even arrived back in California. I was really ready to lose my temper with them, especially after waiting so long for the first set, but to their credit, they took care of everything. I did all the work myself, so I had no labor or dealer issues. My new wheels are on my bike and look awesome. Just wanted to share my experience with them. You have to give credit where it's due, and they stepped up and fixed my problem and had my new wheel and tire back to me within 9 days. As of now, I'm totally satisfied with their products and service.
Sorry about my horrible English.
Crappy cell phone pic for now. Will get better as soon as I stop riding it every chance I get.
It has the matching rotors and drive pulley, but it's hidden by the bag. Time to lower it though.
wheels look good, bike looks good. I ordered DNA fatty's last week, but I only have good things to say about DNA. This is the 4th set that I have bought of Dna's, first set of Fat spokes though. We'll see how it turns out.

Looks good. But you do need too lower it so it doesn't look like a dirt bike.
I know, it looks like my CRF 450 right now. Air ride is next so I can slam it. I keep getting advised against using the lowering bolts, especially when the wife is on the back.
Country, I had no complaints about the DNA looks or quality, just the offset wasn't close enough to make them fit with the 180 tire. The Ride Wrights didn't fit with the 180 either, but I was confident I could have made them work with a narrower belt. I just didn't want to invest the extra money and time. With the weather we're having, I just want to ride this thing as much as I can.
