Trouble installing right side toolbox - 06 Deluxe
I'm trying to get the bracket between the fender support and the frame, but here's the problem:
There are spacers mounted on the bracket, and spacers mounted on the inside of the fender support, so spacer + spacer = too much spacer. I searched and didn't find anyone else having this problem.
the bike was purchased used, so is it possible there is an aftermarket support or something? I'm finding it strange that this hasn't been addressed anywhere.
Unless there's something I'm missing, I'm thinking the only option is to cut the spacer off of the bracket, but I don't want to do anything permanent until I know for sure if I'm just missing something.
Any help please...before I throw something through the window...?

I thought the bracket sits on the outside of the fender supports and not between the frame & fender support. Just remove the fender support bolts & attach the bracket with the 2 bolts & washer supplied with the tool box kit.
