I Need help finding a real good touring seat, just traded for a new 2011 Heritage Softail Classic. Would like someone to give me some ideas about a good comfortable seat. Need a two-up seat and I am Sixty Seven years young so please give me some kind of advise. I traded in a 2005 Dyna Super Glide that I had a sundowner seat on but I want you guys help with other seats.....
I put the below on my bike and couldn't be happier. Per my mechanic its the best combo for comfort on a Heritage. The HD back rest is a wider than most and gives her lots of support.

Another seat worth considering is the HD Signature series seat. It's available in versions that match the style of your bike (Heritage, Deluxe, etc). Here are 2 photos of the H-D Signature series Heritage seat on my '10 Heritage. Sorry I don't have photos of the included removable backrest. It has a 5 position height adjustment **** and a 2nd adjustment **** that moves it forward or backward as needed. It also folds flat to make it easier to get on & off the bike.
'nuff about the backrest... The seat itself is a wide, deep, comfortable bucket that lowers you slightly along with your center of gravity. And even without the backrest installed you get incredible lower back support. Check out the passenger area - same wide, comfortable design and as deep as a sofa cushion. Can't say enough positive about this seat.
Joe is one happy customer with the HD Sig series seat but I am completely on the opposite end of the spectrum. I've had the mustang seat on a previous bike and on my 2010 Heritage I went with the sig series seat. After several hours in the seat it's not very comfortable for me. Numb bum at the top and hard tail bone pain feels like you've bruised it. Cost me $600 for this seat and imho it's junk and would not recommend this to anyone. I've gone out and spent another $150 for an airhawk. Did 600k last weekend and felt great. For comparison purposes I never had an issue with the mustang seat. I hear they are coming out with a touring seat c/w riders backrest at the end of this month....just my .02cents. I'm sure they're are lots of people with different opinions but I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone complaining about the mustang.
When I buy one for my ride I am pretty sure it will the Ultimate seat from the company in Daytona. I sat on one that was on a heritage at a dealer recently and I must say it was extremely comfortable. I have heard other on this sit say the same thing.
