I'm looking to make the Heritage a bit more comfortable for 2 up riding. The OEM saddle is ok, but I find myself wanting something more comfortable for more than a couple hours. I also need to upgrade the pillion & sissy bar pad. And a rider backrest.
Without being able to test ride all of the options out there, I need real world input. I'm 6'0" and 185, the wife is 5'2" and 115, and we're in our late 50s.
Is anyone riding on the Mustang Sports Touring seat & pillion, and would you recommend the setup?
If you've got an aftermarket 2 up seat on your Heritage, I'd like to hear your opinions.
I bought a '11 heritage off a car dealer friend in July. Wife complained about seat. Mustang vintage wide touring solved problem quickly. Pillion is 14.5 inches wide. Just got back from Blue Ridge, 1600 miles, not a complaint.
I tried the Mustang wide touring on my 2011 Fatboy and found it to be very uncomfortable for me, the wife found it very comfortable though. I'm 6 feet as well and it positioned me badly. I sold it and bought a Lepera Daddy long legs and find it very comfortable for me but the passenger seat is not as comfortable as the mustang, but is better than the stock seat. Your wife is on the shorter side though and might find it OK.
