These things are impossible to find. I have been to 4 dealers here in SoCal since the '07's were released and I have only seen 1 Springer out on the floor. Wish I would have been ready to buy when I saw it but have not seen one since. Are these things selling to fast? Are the dealers not ordering them? Am I looking at the wrong dealers? I am going on vaction for Thankgiving and plan to stop at every dealer I pass just to see if they have any springers on the floor. I guess when I am ready to buy I will have to order one. Since they seem to be so limited in my area it makes me want one even more.
Any one else notice this?
There is a Black Pearl Springer at Quaid Harley in Loma Linda. I just saw it there about 4 hours ago. Very impressive looking bike. I sat on her last week while I was waiting to buy my Fat Boy.
Are you looking for FL or FX Springers? FX's were discontinued after 06 model year (except for the 07 FX Springer CVO).
If you are looking for an FX, about a week ago there was an 06 in Black Cherry near Santa Rosa. When I was looking, I hit Warren's in Salinas. They only had a CVO bike - too rich for me too. But they jumped on HD-NET and did a search for me. Found two close by (within 200 miles). I snagged one from Cotati. Never looked to see where the Black Cherry one was. I just recall it was near Santa Rosa.
As of two weeks ago Skip Fordyce opened up another dealership in Corona. It's right of the 91 about 4 miles west of the 15. Exit Serfas Club/ auto center dr. They may have some at that location also. They will sell at MSRP but they don't offer it up front.
