Clutch and throttle cable lube

05 Night Train. Need some lube in my cables. Don't have any cable lube here. But I got a nice can of silicone spray lube. Would this be acceptable to use on my cables? Thanks

I use Dry Slide. It has a long tube that will fit well into the cable housing. The silicone will probably work OK if you can get it to flow down the cable housing.

I just did this to my 04 Heritage. Clutch was getting harder to pull. I used a Monoject 412 syringe that I always have around, sprayed the silicone into the cap of the can, sucked it out with they syringe and inserted the fine point of the 412 into the cable. Slowly inject the lube. A couple of times and it was fine.
