I have had several requests for saddlebags for Deluxes with duals that are like our other bags but bigger. I took our old school bags and designed a bag with our standard tops that lock. These bags are 22x14x7. Wanted to get everyones opinion. Here's a protoytpe set which I have not yet installed the locks on so you can see what I'm talking about. What do you think?
Been looking for bags for my Deluxe that would let me store something besides a skull cap. These look great. An option for a reflector or even LED's on the rear of the bag would be a nice touch.
Only problem I think I would have is with the rear passenger floorboards. Looks like there might be "interference" there.
When do you go into production and when will you make them available?
Yes I can read external dimensions too. The thick materials and double enforced portions of the iron bags is the limiting factor.
I really don't care what you buy, everyone has their opinion and for some reason on this forum if a vendor posts something, someone feels the need to **** on the thread by posting "this ones better". **Spit**
I'm just noting what I have seen and let others decide what they want to buy.
LOL.....**spit**.....wtf does that mean?
I'm not downing a vendor but simply just pointing out that if you are going to spend close to a grand for a set of bags then checking the competition is always a good idea.
Guys...We all know that everyone has their opinion of what bags they like….That’s the value of what this site brings to all of us.
But when it comes to saddlebags our quality is unmatched. I hide as many seems as I can, no strap rivets sticking out of the lid and we use a high end buckles. Plus our bags are as nice on the inside as they are on the outside and they're available with an integrated locking system…it’s just who we are. It drives us daily to constantly improve our products.
I’m a sponsor here on the site and we try to give customers the best we can. This forum is a great resource for all of us, including myself.
